Friday, March 30, 2007Just came back from a very satisfying dinner at 85 market. =)We were giving going to give cindy a surprise celebration after dinner so it was me, cheryl, cindy, minfeng, si hui and kr. We pigged out really. Ordered 2 small stingrays with rice, we xiang and some kind of oyster fried with egg and starch i think. So you can literally see the table overflowing with food. HAHA. I guess the best part was the buying of the cake and the singing loudly at the hawker center. I mean we seriously were attracting attention, not that i liked it, but i thought it'd be good to see cindy blush once in a while. WHEE! haaha. Well, i believe everyone enjoyed themselves? I certainly did. =) Hope to have more of these kind of gatherings again. Its really cool, got that sac family feel once again. You really won't feel left out in the company of these people and that's what i love about hanging out with them. =) I'm really looking forward to the next one. Take care pple!!! *hugs* Monday, March 26, 2007I AM FUMING MAD.i just wasted my poor printer ink!! ok, so it happened like this, after applying for nus, they strongly encouraged that we print out the acknowledgement slip so i pressed print, and guessed wad, they printed out EVERYTHING!!! which was 12 pages!!! poor paper and printer.. =( feel so bad. i mean printer inks are really expensive right. gosh, i'm still mad. and this korean lady just called my house. totally wierd. she didn't know what i was talking about and neither did i. just when i was booked by my mum to stay in the whole day so that my brother will be able to enter the house when he finishes school later, the school called to ask me to relief teach. great right, everything just has to be so coincidental. GR... Sunday, March 25, 2007Hey everyone! I'm back to blog!!!Alright, first, i must give my heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS TO SAC SJAB!!! CONGRATS ESP TO THE SEC 3 NC TEAM! AND CONGRATS TO THE SENIORS WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE!!! =) I'm sorry to say that i didn't have much faith in you people winning actually, i mean base on your standards and all. Guess i forgot standards are relative. hehe. Its a really pleasant surprise this win. i mean i won't say we outright deserved it, but its a very nice surprise. Although we've clinched something, i hope they won't be complacent but work even harder to prove to the officers that SAC is something and they had better remember this school name for a really long time. I found lots of potential in the sec 2s after watching their drill, a pity i missed out the sec 3s one. I really hope to go back to see how I can help to improve their standard. I want that officer to eat back everything he said to the seniors. I know he means well but still, its unkind the way he phrased it. So ya, just watch it sir, SAC will come back with a BANG. I was so elated upon seeing si hui's sms that i was jumping around the stadium like a stupid fool ok, i even ran back in the stadium to tell mei yi the good news, but it ended up like a mad woman talking in gibberish. haha. You should have seen how retarted i looked. Who cares anyways. =) Alright, moving on. I'm just wondering if its just me or is it that blogger now change their way of instuctions to chinese? I mean i log in and choose what i want to do in chinese! Luckily i remembered like where to click and thus, I'm still able to update. HAHAHA. Oh ya, ATTENTION HERE PLEASE. I need some help, hope some kind souls can help me. I'm acting as a pregnant woman for my drama exam so my teacher suggested I use a food cover, u know those plastic covers u use to cover your leftover dinner whatsoever? Ya, that cover to put on my tummy as my baby. =) And I also need to borrow a musical box please. Those that you can open and music comes out?? yup, so its 1. A FOOD COVER(NOT TOO BIG) and 2. A MUSICAL BOX. I'd be really greatful if anyone could lend me these items. =) Well, kr got called by smu to go down for an interview ready, guess they really look for results above anything else. shruggs. Saturday, March 17, 2007Hey everyone!!Applied for uni yet? i haven't, i'm still stuck at trying to write the essays for me to be considered under the discretionary admissions. haha. Its a really difficult task... Anyways, i did baking!! yesterday and today!!! =) Did cookies yesterday with my sis, was quite a success just that it was TOO SWEET. I mean baking cookies from scratch, real achievement for both of us man. =) The recipe stated to use both brown and white sugar so now you can imagine just how sweet it is. And the funny thing was our size of cookies got smaller and smaller cause we figured smaller means more cookies. HAHAHA. I did brownies all by myself this morning, did it in a jiffy cause i used ready made flour. haha. i didn't even need the beater! which means 1 less thing to wash. =) It turned out nice. (of course, its ready made flour rite). So i've got a BIG box of brownies and a moderate box of cookies. Can't wait to get the ingredients and make some more while i still have the time. WHEE!! My sis is queueing up for her campus superstar auditions right now, not there to support her cause she said he didn't want us to. i hope she does well. i'm sure she will. so if she gets in, support her!!! WHEE!!! i'm starting to learn how to imagine myself holdin those big placards and whistles and cheering for her. HAHAHA. but i won't be alone of course, i'd bring along with me a few good friends, if not, just their phones will do. *evil smile* Nah, just kidding, its still so far away. Friday, March 02, 2007Alright, the final verdict is out.its C for econs, chem and phy, and A for math and to my pleasant surprise, a B3 for GP!!! That i was really quite happy about. I was the first in line thus i got my results first and my lim scared me, SERIOUSLY. i was like getting mentally prepared to retake or something. When i was signing the papers, he was like "no matter what the results are, just... ...". Imagine that being said to you, its freaky. Then he said as he handed me the slips, "anything you can just talk to me... ...". That was like OH MY... Alright, so i didn't dare to flip that green flimsy thing over until i was alone and ok, i got what i stated above. SIGH. Knew my mum wouldn't be pleased. Haha,all i want now is just to get a place in the course i'm aiming for. Ok, so i'm at the main focus of this post now. I really really want to thank from the bottom of my heart all the teachers who've helped me, especially the Mr Soo, Mrs Lee and Mr Lim for their endless help to a mediocore pupil(me). To Mrs Tay for her tireless efforts to make us practise to get us our grades and to Mr Lim(gp) for his "never say die" attitude towards the class. HAHA. Next, i want to thank my friends and relatives who have continued their endless encouragement throughout this arduous journey and who've places continual care and concern for me. Thank you very much. I would also like to thank my special SAC friends who always hope for the best for each other in all aspects and congragulate all who've done well. I'm especially grateful to Kang Rong, my besties(Cheryl, Mei yi, and Cindy whom i know constantly keeps us in her prayers) to Bao Zhu, and Minfeng. To my class especially the girls and more specifically, the 5 girls(Sabby, Diana, Xian hui, Valr, and Eileen) that i hang around with most. Without their constant encouragement and help academically, i would have done much worse. A really big thank you. =) Well, we've been through this nearly impossibly journey, now lets all look forward and SQUEEZE our way into uni together!! Don't ever give up hope ok, especially to my little friend, we'll support you all the way. BU KE YI HUI XIN!!! yao JIA YOU!! Sorry, i know i'm a rather lousy consoller. And to the little snail and turtle, stay optimisstic k,although o know its difficult, but i believe that for once in life, something might go our way. =) Last but not least, CONGRATS to all who've done well. i'm really happy for all of you.
